For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:12)
Lately I am facing alot of relationship and friendship problems; from today's devotional I was reminded that this struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world and evil.
Most of time I tried to use my own wisdom and power to deal with the issue. I think that I would be able to change the people or the relationship - and I forgot that the issue is far deeper than what I thought. I forgot to pray seriously about things; yes I have prayed, but my prayer was like forcing God to agree with my own way / solution for the issue; I felt right and other person always the wrong side.
Father, help me to seek You and Your help in the time of struggle. Let me face my struggle with the armor of God, not the armor of flesh. Help me to learn your way so that I may glorify You in my life. Amen
