A new chapter has just begun 1

It has been an intense new year for my church, First Baptist Church of Eastwood. I posted a little bit information last December about my church, that some members have left the church without any clear reasons. It seemed that the situation getting worse. Pros and contras about deacon elections, and the old-untold dissatifaction toward the pastor was raised uncontrolable. It caused the resignation of the pastor a week ago; I'm truly sad to see the progress. Last week after the service the church was in the deep sadness. People were hurt, angry, upset, yet worry. Is the church going to survive?

But again, God has proved that He is a living God. He brought a little spark of hope in the heart of people who stays. We're holding hands, prayed that God would humble our heart, and show us his way.

Last Wednesday, in the business meeting, 18 people came, it was beyond expectation, some members came back, praise the Lord. I really hope that we all learned something through this event; and we all are hoping that the church will grow in the right way that God will show us.
For sure, this event has taught me to depend on God, and to understand that church is belong to God, and He has all the power to build or to destroy the church.

A lot of prayers and love for the pastor, and people who left the church because of the incident.I pray that God leads your way as God has led us; and God will show you how to serve Him better.
