My Birthday and A little up date

Hi, first of all, thanks to my friends and bloggers who greeted me for my birthday. I appreciate that you guys remember my birthday :)

It's my first birthday celebration in United States, since last summer I went home to Jakarta.
My friends delivered a small party for me. Ajeen cooked ribs, corn, vegie, and dal (Indian cuizine). They also bought me birthday chocolate cake! Awesome man.
So we had a small party, Me, Pink, Ryan, Nick, Ajeen, and Camly.
So I thank God for all the friends that I have and all of his blessing in my life.

Speaking about blessing, I am so blessed for this summer. I tried to work more hours during the summer, because on summer we could work more than 20 hours per week, but it's not easy to find on campus job. But God is really good to me. Now I have 3 jobs on campus: the banquet server, house keeping at Legacy Center (Campus Hotel) and as a computer lab assistant. Gee!!! Never imagine that I could get - God is so kind to me.

Another blessing, this one is kinda amazing too.
Well, for next fall semester, I am taking the Applied Ministry class which require me to serve in a church (as a music minister, or at least involve in music). I am so worry about this, since I have limitation in language, and I can't imagine myself lead worship in english - probably I still can teach choir in english, but my home church doesn't have choir.
I talked to my pastor about it, and he asked me to think about something that I can do for music ministry in my church and let him know. Frankly speaking, I have no idea.
So my back up plan is to apply to the Louisville Chinese Church. This church has choirs and I feel more comfortable to use my english infront of non-native.

But God has another incredible plan. Like two days ago, one of my Korean friend called me. He offered me a job as a music minister in his church, since he is gonna move to another church. He said my english would be enough for lead worship, because I only would lead the singing, while the pastor would lead the rest; and since I know how his english abilit, so I guess I can manage it. And also I would teach a choir in that church - I am okey with that.
So, since this is a job offering, means the church will pay me for this position - great !!
Another thing, he said that I have to find also a pianist to help me serve here. So I am thinking about my roomate Justin - it would be nice if he can also serve as a pianist in this church together with me. I've told him about this and he'll think about this and let me know later.
Well, still one minor thing, since I don't have a working visa, I have to apply for working permit letter through the International Student office in my school.
I am about to do that.

So guys, please continue to pray for me.
And hopefully you guys have been encouraged by my experience.

"ANd we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28)
