Aaah... February 14 - Valentine's day. I am actually not a fan of the V-day. Especially, since I am 'jomblo' now, so I have nothing to prepare for this V-day. However - I still have a lot of love in me.
It is written in the Bible: and the biggest among them is LOVE. Why love is so important? Because love gives us a reason, or ULTIMATE reason for more exact! When you do something with love; it gives the action a precious meaning.
Love endures everything. With LOVE, you may have strength to endure things or pain that you have never imagined before. with Love, you may willing to die for something that you love.
Now the question is: what/whom do you love with? I throw the question to myself, and my answer will be:
First, I love myself. It sounds very narcistic; but hey... it's not easy to love yourself. A lot of people hate theirselves because they cannot appreciate or they don't like a part of theirselves.
I love myself, I don't like if myself is hurt (like now, my hands are swollen, and my throat feels weird). I don't like to waste my own life - therefore I try to treat myself well - and give the best for myself. It will mean that I might need to let myself suffer in order to get a longlasting benefit. I also try to understand myself - it is an eternal 'homework'.
Second, I love my family. Being away from my family, makes me appreciate and love them more. I am learning the weaknessess of my family and I am amazed, how within the imperfect family can grow a piece of love. My family and I need to learn how to express the piece of love that we have. For our family, it is hard to verbally say I LOVE YOU but I know that it is there. And I LOVE YOU ALL too dear!
Third, I love my friends. For me, friends are huge blessings from God. Maybe bcoz I am away from my family, then friends become my second family. I admit that I am not always succeed in giving love to my friends. There are some friends who are painted close in my heart. The ones who are dearly meaningful in my life. Thanks for the friendship. And ... I will keep trying to love my friends, old and new... It is a joy in my life.
The last but not the least, I love Jesus. He is the main thing in my life. The reason I love Jesus, because He loved me first. His love is perfect, even when I don't love Him (or seems like that I oppose Him) God still loves me. Like a Father who have a perfect love to His son - He always opens his arm to hold me and comfort me. In his love, I have no doubt and worry. In his love, I feel that I can do anything. His love that make me able to love myself, my family, and my friends in a proper way. Because of His love, He gave Himself as a atonement for my sin. His love is forever, not only in this life time, but also in the eternal time. Because of His love - I can live my life and walk in peace everyday.

That's true that it's not easy to express love to family verbally. At least, it happens to me as well. But I know and can feel that we love each other :)
